  • Who is GoGetta?

    GoGetta Equipment Funding helps small to medium businesses access the equipment and commercial vehicles they need to make their venture successful. We give Aussies a fair go by providing them with flexible funding to start-up, grow or expand their business.

    GoGetta is a division of Silver Chef Group, an ASX-listed company that has been funding the equipment needs of Australian businesses for 30 years.

  • How does Rent.Grow.Own work?

    You start on a short 12 month agreement, and can claim 100% tax deductibility* on each affordable weekly rental payment. GoGetta provides a number of flexible options, including:

    • A long-term ownership plan with heavily discounted rent as you continue to build equity;
    • Continue renting if you’re not sure whether the equipment is right for your business or you don’t have enough capital to purchase outright, and enjoy a loyalty discount for an additional 12 months while you decide;
    • Purchase equipment outright at any time with a generous rebate (up to 75% of the net rent paid);
    • The ability to return the equipment with no penalties at 12 months if the equipment isn’t right for you.
  • Choosing a vehicle or equipment

    GoGetta has an extensive network of vendors nationwide, nearly 2,500 in fact. Simply give us a call or send us an email and we can link you up with someone who will source the equipment you need quickly. We also fund private sales for transport and construction equipment, so if you’ve found an asset you’d like, complete our short website form and we’ll be in touch soon.   • Applying for funding

    This is easy and takes just a matter of minutes. Either complete our online application form, call us on 1800 173 284 to complete an application by phone, or get in contact with one of our accredited finance brokers who can complete the application for you at no extra charge.

  • Signing the agreement

    We use an online signing system called DocuSign®. The rental agreement will be sent to your email with instructions on how to complete, and will be automatically returned to GoGetta. Our customers find it really simple to use. If this doesn’t suit you, please let us know and we will process in an alternative way.

  • What happens if I sell my business?

    If you decide to sell your business, we can simply reassign your contract to the new business owner. Give us a call to ask how.

  • What is the interest rate?

    As GoGetta’s finance solutions are rental products, there is no interest rate. Furthermore, unlike a bank loan or other traditional funding option, all weekly payments are 100% tax deductable*.

My responsibilities
  • Looking after the vehicle or equipment

    Each new piece of commercial equipment comes with a manufacturer’s warranty, which is passed on to you. Some second-hand assets may also come with a warranty; this too will be passed on to you.

    Once the warranty has expired, then as with any other finance package, you are responsible for any repair or maintenance costs.

  • Who is responsible for the equipment maintenance and running costs?

    Equipment maintenance, insurance and registration are the responsibility of the contract holder.

  • Who insures and registers the equipment?

    You must comprehensively insure the equipment or vehicle before taking receipt of it. Most insurance companies offer temporary insurance (a ‘cover note’) to protect you while you arrange permanent cover. Your rental agreement with GoGetta will take effect only after you have provided us with an insurance certificate for the vehicle or equipment. Registration of the vehicle is also your responsibility and must be in your name.

After 12 months
  • My options at 12 months

    GoGetta is one of the most flexible equipment funding options on the market. At the end of your 12-month agreement, you can:

    Switch to a path to ownership. With our Go.Own.Plus option, you will continue to build equity in the equipment with each payment and enjoy a 30% payment discount. At the end of the agreement, you can purchase the equipment for a nominal amount.

    Continue renting. Choose to either rent week to week and keep your options open or alternatively choose our loyalty option for an additional 12 month term and enjoy a 20% discount on your weekly payments (equipment return is only available at the end of the loyalty period).

    Purchase the equipment. We’ll take 75% of the net rent paid off the purchase price!

    Return the equipment to GoGetta with no penalties or further obligation if the equipment is no longer suitable, or your business hasn’t worked out as planned.

     

     

     

  • Buying the vehicle or equipment

    If at the end of your 12 month term, you decide you wish to own the equipment but don’t want to use your hard earned cash, you can switch to one of our loyalty discount options and purchase at a time that’s right for your business, and enjoy a discount on your weekly rent.

    If you’re ready to buy your equipment outright, give us a call and we’ll help get you sorted. Once the final purchase has been completed, the title of ownership of the asset will be transferred to you.

  • Who owns the equipment, me or GoGetta?

    In a nutshell, GoGetta owns it. We buy the equipment or vehicle for you and you rent it from us. When you’re ready to own it, we’ll give you a generous rental rebate off the purchase price, and once paid, we’ll transfer over the title of ownership to you.

  • I’ve signed a rental agreement; will I be able to eventually own the equipment?

    Yes. GoGetta buys the equipment you want on your behalf and you rent it from us. Our Rent.Grow.Own solution gives you the option of purchasing the equipment or vehicle at any time. Depending on when you decide to buy, we’ll reduce the purchase price by up to 75% of the net rent paid.
